Have you possibly ever blown your nose in public and received the stink eye from a random person on the street?I think most of us might have experienced this or a situation close to this.We need to learn how to act appropirately in public but before that what exactly is personal etiquette.
When asked "What is the definition of etiquette?", Naomi Polson, who received her etiquette certificate in Washington DC and is the Founding Director of The Etiquette Company, replied, "Etiquette has to do with good manners. It's not so much our own good manners, but making other people feel comfortable by the way we behave. So it's more or less thinking of others and how others perceive us: So that everyone knows the rules for doing things and everyone is in a very comfortable position in society." She continues, "That's what I do; that's my bread and butter. I teach individuals and I go into very large companies and teach in groups.
This right here is what personal etiquette means,and it is really in us all,but we just need to learn howmto bring it forth and the students of dunman secondary school will learn how exactly to do that in this course.
Now that you know that personnel etiquette is important,you are probably thinking how this applies to the students of our school.Well…
Through this course the students will get to learn how to act in different situations…specifically at the workplace.This is a necessary skill that they need to learn to make a good impression of themselves.to their future boss and colleagues.They need to know how to treat their clients as well.Without knowing this things could go horribly wrong.They might not get that job as their
