Food expense e. Shopping expense f. Attractions expense 3. Pick dates for trip 4. Preparing what to pack 5. Exchange money
2.0: Reserving necessary coverage and flight 1. Meet with travel agent 2. Meet with consulate for visa/passport 3. Book online attractions and print/call to confirm.

    Cell phones come in handy during an emergency. First, if someone is driving and lands into an accident, most cars don’t have the “GM on star” button so they are most likely to use their cell phone to get help. Anyone can dial 911, and get the help they need in just a matter of seconds. Whereas if someone didn’t own a cell phone it would be very difficult to get help as fast. There are times where someone can be in a very critical situation where if they do not get the help they need as soon as possible they could potentially die. For example, if someone’s head got cracked open during the car accident they would immediately need help from the paramedics. Also, if there is an urgent situation, where you believe there is someone following you for example, and your life is in danger then cell phones are there as a tool. One can easily contact the police or a family member to seek help, and save their life. In contrast, if someone did not have a phone then the “stalker” has a better chance of getting a hold of you. It will make it hard for someone to escape a situation like this. Thirdly, cell phones also come in handy when you forget to inform your parents or friends about any new event coming up. For example, unexpectedly you have to stay after school to finish a test, and your mom and dad are not aware of it. Then you can use your cell phone to let them know. Overall, cell phones can be realistic in times of an emergency.…

    The challenging way to increase efficiency is achieved through reorganizing the way work gets done. From the late 1970s through the early 1990s, companies experienced slow growth, for reasons related to the U.S. and worldwide economy. However, one key reason for the slow growth arose from the competition from other industrialized nations. The typical reaction to slow growth caused by global competition was to try to cut back on production costs by laying off workers. A business would downsize by reducing the amount and variety of goods and services produced and the number of employees needed to produce them. By laying off workers, dropping unprofitable products, or even increasing the use of technology, firms were able to cut their costs. But the problem of producing right products inexpensively still existed. Better ways were needed to compete with foreign firms, many of which had lower labor costs and equal or better quality and productivity. Some firms boldly decided to move in a direction that was similar to tearing down the business and rebuilding it. Many firms arrived at the conclusion that employees were their most important resource. Further, managers learned that by empowering workers, the firm could become more productive. Empowerment is letting workers to involve in determining how to perform their work tasks and offer ideas on how to improve the work process of the company.…
