Introduction

Human being use language for convening the ideas, thought, and expression by using it as a tool; through their whole life. Acquiring a mother language or first language is the need of every body, later we also need to learn other need base language for getting job, for communicating with other people of different nation or for educational purpose, or any other reason may be.
English is one of the language that is learnt throughout the globe because of its status at international level. Another of the reason to learn this language is that most of educational stuff is easily available in this language and soon available in market to access, and so with the case in PAKISTAN. Here English language is teach at very initial level to get the command on this language. To efficiently learn a second language there are four basic skill that are to be command on; listening, reading, writing and, speaking.
Language is taught in many ways and methodology, learning a language through Grammar Translation method is one of the classic method, through this many old language such as Latin and Greek have been taught since the early period of learning another language. As Howatt in one his book, The ‘Empirical Evidence for showing the Impact of L1 in second language learning’ says that The Classical Method (Grammar translation Method) was fundamentally related with the instruction and guiding of Latin and Greek language. The target of coaching Latin and Greek was evidently not so that learners would be able to express them and create the language own their own, but rather to have the ability of logical thinking , intellectual ability to get education and to be civilized and to read the text of that target language in a better way.
Furthermore Grammar Translation Method is use to teach “dead languages” that follow some fixed pattern and rules, and learner have to follow on a fixed track. English is not a dead language though it has certain rules but to
