Aging Society
In the United States, we have an aging society. What impact do you think this is going to have on your life as an adult? What about during your retirement years? What is this going to do to the concept of the family? economics? government? education? and religion?
I believe that by the time I am in adult which really is not that long from now, more like two years from now until I turn 21, I do not think that I will be impacted by any of the aging society until my mid adult hood or until I am 40 and over years of age. If I am successful in my work in the future and years to come and if I am to retire when I am in my 60’s I think I will be impacted because in the near future depending on the law that will most likely be passed, there can be a change in my life time before I hit my retirement years in which the law says that retirement is extended for a longer period like 70 years of age.
The concept of the family will change I think that an aging society will have less family members because of what everyone now know, and the stuff that is taught to everyone, well mostly everyone.
The aging society will impact the economy because if birth rates are low and older people are living longer than that means there will not be enough funds to support the older people due to the lack of younger people going into the work force. Money will be lost to the young people that are there, currently in the United States, the population is balanced and the young people working are the same as the middle aged working and so are the old people that need medical attention.
The government is not so much different from an economy, and knowing the government and how they used to encourage people to go to war, like the old posters that said, “WE NEED YOU!” with uncle same pointing at whoever is reading the poster, the government will tell the people of the United States to get busy, if you know what I mean. Also if that isn’t possibly because of the world getting over populated, then
