This is a essay on the correct appearance and wear of the army PT uniform because I failed to meet the standards and did not have my uniform complete. The army P T uniform consists of the following items on days when the weather is cold which are an army physical fitness jacket, long black running pants, fleece PT cap, gloves with green or black inserts an leather palms. WHen I arrived at PT formation I didn't have my gloves an was told by SSgt to be in the proper uniform the following morning for PT formation. Since the cause of my actions failed me to be in proper uniform I am writing this essay on the proper wear and appearance of the army physical fitness uniform. It's important to be at the right place and the right time with a positive attitude and in the right uniform. It represents the army, our company and what we stand for. Being in the right uniform is important to the Army. A soldier should always be in the right uniform because it is a part of the army standard and should be adhered to at all times both on and off duty. When participating in physical training a soldier should be in the correct uniform. The proper way to wear your army physical fitness uniform is.. in the winter and on cold days you must wear your long sleeve physical fitness shirt, black running shorts with your army physical fitness jacket and long black running pants on on top of your shorts and long sleeve tee shirt with PT gloves with inserts an leather palms, your fleece PT cap, white socks above the ankle and running shoes. All of these items must be pulled up to your waist line and not sagging or untucked an all shirts will be tucked into your shorts. While in the army physical fitness uniform you will always have a neat hairstyle and always wear the uniform with pride. When your wearing your army physical fitness uniform the PFU is authorized for year round wear by all soldiers by the commanders preference. Commanders may authorize the wear of commercial running shoes,
