Army regulation that governs the soldier’s hair and grooming practices and/or accommodations because of religious practices. The requirement for hair grooming standard is important to maintain uniformity within a soldier population. Many hair styles are acceptable as long as they are very neat and conservative. Soldiers were given exceptions based on religious practices in accordance with Army Regulation 600-20 on and before to 1 January 1986 which still remain in effect as long as the soldiers remain otherwise qualified for retention. It is impossible to address every acceptable or unacceptable haircut, or what is or is not eccentric or conservative grooming of the hair. The leaders at all levels are responsible for exercising good judgment of the Army policies and regulations. Judgment of certain haircuts and or hairstyles is supposed to be determined while the soldier’s headgear is worn.Army Regulation 670-1 covers the wear and appearance of military uniforms. Wearing the military…

Military gear by nature is supposed to be very heavy duty and long lasting in nature. Therefore, even these products that have the standard military print design on them are made with materials that are very strong and rugged in nature. These products give a very casual and effortless look to the wearer and are perfect for wearing in a camping trip out in the wilderness or even to your morning class in…
The only aspect of training that will be military-like is the beginning recruit training. Military powers thrive on a lack of individualism, FSAI differs in that they will emphasize individuality and accountability. Citizens of a state will know who their Avengers team is, creating an intimate bond to allow trust and confidence to grow. In order to ensure quick recognition and notability, distinct uniforms will create nonverbal recognition among the general public. Not identical, each member is valued and projected as an individual with unique powers; they should be treated as such. Dress consistently in a way reflective of the team as a whole while maintaining…

Being a member of the military requires a lot of discipline and dedication. In order to provide and have the members feel the additional responsibility than from a civilian the Uniform of Military Justice is necessary. When a person joins the military, they have to be aware of the different set of laws that will apply to them. The discipline for a military member is necessary as they are in charge of representing and defending a nation. Laws were created to have a functionally society and by having an additional set of laws for the military members, they become aware of the greater responsibilities they have.…
Over time the uniform of a soldier has change. Since the days of the Revolutionary War to today modern wars in Afghanistan and Iraq the uniform has change but the guide lines has not. As the uniform evolved, so has the regulation that covers it has also. The regulation that covers this is Army Regulation 670-1, the covers everything from how to cut and maintain your hair to how to wear jewelry, eyeglasses and sunglasses. This regulation is something every soldier should read, even the ones who have been in for over ten years. Because from what I have learned is that this regulation is constantly changing.…
Another good point, everyone wearing the same uniform makes it hard for the enemy to count how many soldiers are attacking. If everyone is different it is easy to distinguish individuals and therefore easier to count them. If we all look the same it makes it very hard to count us because we nearly blend together. The uniform is designed to soften the outline of the human body and they will easily miscount soldiers. Also, there is a reason we have an a SOP for our full battle rattle, everything is in the same spot so it will be easy and quick to find a wounded soldiers IFAK or other supplies. In a combat situation speed and efficiency is critical. Another example is safety, we all wear our armor plates and kevlars (even patches) in specific way because its is the most effective way to wear them. Being an individual or thinking you are special in this situation could cost you your life. Finally for camaflouge, DUH! What dumbass would wear their PTs to a combat mission?…
An important aspect of the military is physical fitness and one might join to say at or reach a physical. Physical fitness is ones responsibility while they are serving in the military. All personal must be in “fighting form” and depending on what branch of service a person joins, determines the level of fitness…
Another Reason the army needs/wants things to be dress right dress is because if everyone could just do their own thing how would or could we be taught the same stuff? they could just be like "Eh i don't want to teach or do that today" yet when someone else who is supposed to be doing the same thing, they're actually doing it. PT, Grading, BCT, AIT, regular army, and even some fighting wouldn't be the same and all soldiers would be different.…
Physical fitness, as defined by Lt. Colonel Teodosio, is the possession of an individual of a healthy body, a capacity for skillful and sustained performance, an ability to recover from exertion rapidly, a desire to complete a designated task and a confidence to face any eventuality. It is in fact the ability to function effectively in physical work, training, and other activities and still have enough energy left over to handle any emergencies which may arise. Physical fitness is a must among men in uniform. Rank, length of service or nature of assignment is never an excuse for any military personnel to disregard his state of physical readiness. Complete personnel…
Physical fitness is an integral part of the army lifestyle and ability of a soldiers to efficiently perform all tasks necessary to be the best soldier they can be. There have been many forms of physical fitness training in the army over the years while the Army is continuously changing and trying to ensure that the programs set for its personnel is the absolute best that they can provide. However, the one aspect that has stayed the same is the Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT). The APFT is not only antiquated and outdated but also a very poor representation of an individual’s physical fitness and ability to do the essential tasks of an Army Soldier. The APFT is the long standing standard in what a fit soldier should look like…
