For generations these songs have shaped how we view society, or at least have influenced others to influence society and those around them. While I have been in high school, I have had some amazing times. Whether it was skipping around the field for our last mile run, trying to surprise teachers with birthday parties, or pranking teachers when they leave the room, it’s good to remember that high school not been only homework and tests. It is a fortunate fact that during these four years, we weren’t trapped in a classroom the entire time. It was during our field trips and other off campus activities that I have made some of my favorite memories. Who knew that a class our size could take up only one half of the tour bus? I guess anything is possible if you want to listen to a rap battle. Our trip to Washington DC almost got bad a few times, but we all made it through okay. And I’m sure I don’t need to remind you all of the chaos from our senior trip, but we all survived, so it was…

In my personal experience with music, I have found Green Day to be a very influential band. The words they put together in a song, have touched not only me, but I'm sure many others around the world.…
