Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce (CYPW)

Who is it for?
The Level 3 Diploma is aimed at those who work in the Children and Young People’ Workforce in England at an un-supervised level. The Diploma will help learners build the knowledge and skills that are required to work with children and young people from birth to 19 years. Due to the optional units it covers a diverse range of jobs and roles within this occupational area

All mandatory units must be part of their job role.

Course content

To achieve the Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young People’s Workforce learners must achieve a minimum of 65 credits.
The learner must achieve 27 credits from mandatory Group A.
Learners selecting Group B (Early Learning and Childcare) must achieve 22 credits.
The remaining credits must be achieved from Group E.

Use Course grid to obtain information on suitability of qualification and ensure that enough credits can be covered to enable completion.
