Why Is It Important To Be Paid
We all know that the world of sport is consisted of multimillion contracts and successful sportsmen are paid more money than other people who also do an important work for the country's welfare.
From one side it can be unfair as many scientists, doctors, policmen, firefighters are doing very important work. Sometimes they risk their own life to save a another life or make a discovery of some kind of medicine which can save hundred lifes and the life of successful sport professionals also. They work hard for the country, so that other citizens including sport professionals can feel safe, healthy and continue their professional training. From the first sight it seemed unfair paying the sport professionals more money then other people who do an important work for our everyday life.
From the economical viewpoint it is justified as there is an average limit of wage in every country and employers working in different areas are titled to get that average limit which is

In other hand sport professionals weather it is a footbal player or tennis player winning every game or match makes them more successful as they get grants for every game they have von. Continuing to win over every game their popularity and professionalism is growing and with that success grows the wage. That is why we see sometimes clubs paying more money for successful football, basketball or tennis players.
In my opinion is that beyond every success whether it is a sport or scientific discovery there is always a hard working and hard training. No matter what kind of profession people are doing when the time comes to watch a sport event wheather it is a world championship or an olympic game, when millions of people of different professions are gathered for the sake of one thing to support their national team or a favourite player because one goal or one medal can bring a glory and a fame to all

The article “Do Professional Athletes get Paid too much Money” is written by Mihir Bhagat a senior analyst. Bhagat believes professional athletes make too much money. In his article he explains the amount of money someone is paid should be based on the economic importance and value of the job for society (1). The article then lists some of the other workers that are paid less than professional athletes such as firefighters, police officers, military workers, and doctors. Meanwhile, the crowd pays a lot of money be entertained. The crowd is full of doctors, lawyers, teachers, and mechanics that have paid thousands of dollars to earn the money to get to the game in the first place. The players that are being watched normally haven't worked hard towards a good education. Some have been recruited right out of high school, while most got huge scholarships to play sports at prestigious schools. These schools will do almost anything to keep their best players in school. So they athletes can eventually make it to the professional level, with or without a degree. One might argue that some people get money for being good with their brains, why shouldn't people get money for being good with their bodies; on the other hand, since when have we paid someone $12 million to think and have fun? It's not all the athletes' fault though. Once the player becomes good, many different teams will seek him or her after. Soon after, the highest bidder will get he or she on his team. What is the difference between $80 million and $90 million? Players will even stop playing completely if they think that they aren't making enough money. So much for the idea of playing for fun. The world of sports has become another business world, which is the reason why athletes get paid so…

Hundreds of Millions of dollars all around the world are being used to pay our athletes. My question is should they be paid this astronomical amount of money. Certain athletes earn millions while various people all around the world can barely afford the necessities, such as food, water and shelter. This is a problem that desperately needs to be addressed. To achieve this we should employ taxes, but the money made off this should go to charity, also we should lower salary caps, thus we restrict the amounts teams can spend on their players. In this report, I will be explaining why athletes should be paid less…

They are playing because they love the sport, not because they will get payed well. They play because it earns them scholarships and free money for school. The money they earn is going for their schooling, not to be put in their pockets. It’s like an investment. If they go to a college to play, they get money to go to the college where they can play. And then once they graduate, they are professionals, and they get to earn a lot more money because they were paid to go to college to play.…

This happens for the fact that, again, the people in this country tend to care about having fun rather than anything else. Another reason as to why the amount of money that athletes receive is ludicrous is that, “...retired athletes can go on to have lucrative jobs,” (Edelman 24). Being involved in lucrative jobs means always making tons of money, and more than almost everyone else. “...there are plenty of people who have difficult and dangerous jobs, and no one is handing them exorbitant amounts of money,” (Edelman 24). As to why people do not pay people who work strenuously becomes lost upon the vast majority of people, but I believe that it is for the fact that no one actually cares about them. All in all, the fact that people who gallop around all day, and still acquire millions of dollars, is a truly disturbing truth that burdens us…

Another good reason that athletes should be paid a salary in addition to their scholarship is that the sport they play takes time away from being able to work. Most of the time the athlete’s sport takes up most of their time not spent in class which leaves no time to study if they have to work a job to help support themselves.…

The sport industry is one of the largest industries in the United States, meaning it brings in the most revenue. But, aren’t the players actually the ones bringing the money in? The spectators are paying a big amount of money for their tickets and not to mention paying even more on foods, drinks and sporting attire. Since athletes are bringing in almost $11 billion a year, it is only fair to pay them. Being a part of such a large industry, people expect athletes to perform as professional athletes do. High expectations mean athletes have to be committed and willing to put in the long time consuming hours and hard work. This is an all day everyday commitment that leaves you with no free time or anytime at all to go out and get a job so that you can support yourself. People say it is only fair that college athletes get paid so that they can make a living and support their self.…

The money which is given to players should be reduced because what they do isn't worth all the money they get. Because the average salary of a professional football player of February 2010 was listed at about $1.8 million year (Mandi R Hall, www.ehow.com). There are also other people that have worked harder throughout their lives by working and studying. Players perform a sport where they do not save anyone's life unlike doctors who study for 6 consecutive years, work for several hours, and literally save people's lives. But the problem is even doctors they don’t gut that high salary like the average in 2009 for doctors in the US was $226,000/ year (mdsalaries.blogspot.com). There are also other careers like police officers who devote their lives to provide a safe community.…

Firstly, sports stars have a big influence on people’s thinking. They are very famous people and active in the world. As products on the human resource market, our salaries are determined solely by the amount of supply and demand. Our salaries rise if the vacancies provided by employers outnumber the candidates in the society, and vice versa. On the other hand, the supply is very few in the case of “successful” sports professionals. Some people argue that doctors should be paid more than sports stars. They contend that this is essential for the welfare of our society. It is true that doctor as a profession has contributed immensely to the advancement of mankind society and are not paid as much as the sports star. The reason for this is that the “supply” of doctors surpasses its demand. Almost everyone could become a doctor after twenty years learning and training, but it requires special talents to turn into a world champion. The role of the sportsmen is enormous, because they are representatives from mother country. Many people are encouraged and impressed by them. Also, a lot of…
