What Type Of Difficulties Could Managers Have While Establishing Self-Managed Teams Case Study
Not all managers are a proven success because some do not understand the concept of what it takes to manage an office. Those that are leaders also don’t necessarily make great leaders or managers. One of the more popular things a lot of offices use is something called self-managed teams. This often allows the employees to have limited input about task, and services involved in that company. (MacDonald, 2017)

What type of difficulties could managers have while establishing self-directed, high-performing teams?

Transactional managers may be more looking for a particular end result in the performance of the team working under them. Because they like to rewards the high performance workers. They believe in setting goals and seeing them carried out. Transformational managers are more of those that are based off levels of communication, productivity and being visible. They also look at the bigger picture of where a project is going. I would also comment these types of managers tend to be great visionary people. They are well organized; and stays focused on reaching a set goal and are well known to delegate different task to …show more content…
People need feedback because it allows them to know if they are on the right track. Just because these people are experienced and some may feel they need no to support their views or ideals they should always be willing to receive some feedback. It can help maintain a good flow of productivity for the firm as well as maintaining cost for the companies especially something like shipping or distribution. (Johnson, 2017)
List some successful characteristic of establishing self-directed, high-performing teams

Sometimes when there is a lot of work to be done it never hurt to give small task (delegate the duties) to other people on the floor. Why not try to do group sharing so that they can come up with a finished product that everyone including the client is pleased with the outcome? There is an act of being self-directed like you find under interdependence and independent. Because all managers still need somebody else to lean on and give feedback.

Even, if your co-workers have trusted your recent judgment call. That may not be the case when there is a turnover in newly hired workers.
