What Is Acai Berry
Acia Beerry What is Acai berry? Maybe you are familiar with it or maybe you are not, but when you walk in Jamba Juice, you find there is Acai on the menu, or see it in your favorite yogurt store, Yogen Fruz. It is a grape-like berry, a dark purple, and approximately the size of a blueberry. This berry has high level of omega 3 and 6, which a “family of unsaturated fatty acids that have in common a final carbon–carbon double bond in the n−3 position; that is, the third bond from the methyl end of the fatty acid”. This is related to the course biology 1 at UC San Diego, and in its chapter five, it also talks about the structure of fatty acid. Omega 3 and 6 are essential nutrients for our human body and provide so many healthy benefits. One of those benefits is to stimulate blood circulation. The first reference I listed on the last page talks about the benefits of the Acai Berry. It states that Acai berry has a plenty of functions that benefits human body, and one of those capabilities is to improve blood circulation. This is important in the relationship with the claim because it leads us to wonder why Acai can improve blood flow, and what is inside of Acai that can stave off many ailments such as cardiovascular disease that it involves the heart or blood vessels caused by poor blood circulation. The second reference will explain in details about Acai. Moreover, this scientific data gives us information that clarifies what is inside of Acai that can help the blood flow. Acai contains high level of omega-3 and omega-6. The third reference is my primary article, which describes the structures and functions of omega-3 and omega-6. It says that omega-3 and omega-6 are essential fatty acids and necessary for human health. The main function of omega-3 and omega-6 is reducing cholesterol level in relation to increase the blood circulation. The fourth article also provides important information that relates to the claim. It contains data of how omega-3 and omega-6
