Tyce Diorio is originally from Brooklyn, New York. He was born on August 22, 1970. His legal name is Keith and has many credits under Keith Diorio. He now prefers and is known by “Tyce”. There doesn’t seem to be an explanation for this nickname. Tyce attended New York City’s famed High School of Performing Arts before moving to Los Angeles, California. His dancing career began on a television series called “Star Search”. On that show, he set a record of having a four star rating every week. After moving to California, Tyce connected with Paula Abdul. He became part of her dance crew for her “Under My Spell” world tour, including her music videos, award ceremonies and commercials. He continued to travel the world with multiple stars. Such as, Celine Dion, NSYNC, Jennifer Lopez, Mya, and Janet Jackson. In addition to Tyce’s world tours, he has had acting roles in many movies as early as 1993, These films include, “Mr. and Mrs. Smith”, “Showgirls”, “13 Going on 30”, “Epic Movie”, and “Flinstones Viva Rock Christmas”. He also appeared on the Broadway shows “Fosse” and “Chicago”. Finally, Tyce had starred in multiple shows. He was a judge for a show called “Master of Dance”. “Master of Dance” didn’t last long, but was about dance competitions. He is now known most famously for his judging and choreographing on the dance contest show of “So You Think You Can Dance” (SYTYCD). In 2009 he won the Outstanding Choreography Emmy Award for his work on SYTYCD. Tyce has many credits for choreographing Broadway shows, television show and award shows. Such as “Fame”, “Annie”, “That ‘70s Show”, “Cinderella”, “The Academy Awards” and “The Billboards Music Awards”. Tyce has choreographed routines for stars such as Paulina Rubio and Tobey Maguire. He has also choreographed routines for television commercials such as Apple iPod, Road Runner DSL, Sylvania, and McDonald’s. A musical entitled “Just Another
