Tropicana's Orange Juice: Value Proposition
Tropicana's Orange Juice's value proposition is that it is heart healthy. It is telling you how it is a delicious way to take care of your heart, while providing an excellent source of omega-3 EPA & DHA, which promotes cardiovascular health. It also still maintained the fresh-squeezed taste while also providing the great nutritional value it does. As well as that, is allows you to enjoy two servings of fruit per serving size as well as an excellent source of Vitamin C. Lastly, there is a good source of not only Potassium but Folic Acid too. They also make sure to tell you that there are no added sugars or preservatives. The company also allows you to decide if you want pulp or not and how much of it, antioxidant advantages, low acid and so on. The design of the Orange Juice packaging was redesigned in the past year or so. I think that changing something everyone is used to isn’t a good idea. Most people don’t like change. What I do like about the logo is the straw they have coming out of the orange, making you think it’s that pure, almost like drinking directly from an orange. Then I looked at Fanta zero Orange flavored soda. They advertise to people trying to keep their weight under control while still enjoying soda. They make sure to let you know there are zero calories, zero sugar, and 100% natural flavor. You don't get the carbs, sugar, and caffeine, but you do still get the taste you love. I think since Fanta is owned by Coca-Cola, it helps people to believe in what they are selling. Coca-Cola is a known brand that many people love and is trusted. The Fanta bottle seems like a fun, colorful, bottle that captured my eye. It has a grip on it to make it easy to hold and add a little something to the design, while making it unique since most plastic bottles are just flat. They are selling a fun, relaxed time! The Tropicana Orange Juice and Fanta zero Orange flavored soda are directed towards different people so one isn’t necessarily

This project was to see if orange juice can benefit the body more than gatorade can. If orange juice has more electrolytes than gatorade, then orange juice can help the body stay more hydrated. Athletes care about getting enough electrolytes because the athletes need to stay hydrated when working out and playing sports. The independent variable is the orange juice, gatorade, and distilled water. The dependent variable is the electrolytes measured in milliamps. The results were that the gatorade had 0.01 milliamps more than the orange juice and the distilled water stayed at zero. One of Gatorade’s most noteworthy strength’s is its commanding share of the “active thirst” market, approximately 80%. (Portfolio.com) This makes Gatorade a cash cow for the Pepsi Company as growth is fairly calm. As evident by its impressive share of the market, Gatorade is an extremely popular brand and has outstanding brand recognition and loyalty. The company currently offers three lines of products: its Performance Series, Thirst Quencher, and Propel Fitness Water. The Performance Series appeals to athletes participating in demanding physical tasks and includes energy bars, nutrition shakes, specialized sports drinks, and energy drinks. The Thirst Quencher line offers the original Gatorade formula in a variety of flavors varying from the original flavors to morning flavors to Latin-inspired flavors. The Propel Fitness Water line offers an alternative to water drinkers who want a little more flavor and vitamins that water bottled water doesn’t have. All three of these lines combine to cover much of the sports drink market and beyond. Athletes need a way to refuel while they are engaging in their physical activities and Gatorade offers a solution. Unlike water, Gatorade drinks contain electrolytes that athletes lose when they sweat. Gatorade also has a wide array of flavors for consumers to choose from while water only has one. Most energy drinks are at least lightly carbonated and heavily caffeinated…
