The Problem and Its Background
In today's business environment, even small and mid-sized businesses have come to rely on computerized management systems. Certainly, there are plenty of small retail outlets, manufacturers, and other businesses that continue to rely on manual computation. Not like convenience stores purchase of a computerized system might be a wasteful use. But for other business operation computerized management systems have emerged as a key component. The recent development of powerful computer programs capable of addressing a wide variety of record keeping needs including management in one integrated system have also contributed to the growing popularity of technology.
Along with man`s unquenchable thirst for knowledge and discovery, technology is rapidly advancing and developing even as people speak. With all the good things the computer offers, it is needless to say that it became a necessity for businesses and establishments to harness the benefits it offers.
Billing Management and Reservation System is software needed to manage the billing and reservation process of the company. This system makes the company easily to manage the bills and reservation and also lessen the work load through tracking and printing the weekly or monthly reports for the company records.
Billing Management and Reservation System is a user friendly, accurate source of data in terms of printing the costumer’s bill and for the company’s weekly report. The security of the data records of this software is protected because the data records of the company are irreplaceable and it only allows the cashier and manager access the database.
This study is to know how this proposal project helps the company in processing their billing and reservation transactions. The second is, if possible the company can keep track of their records and will lessen the work report because of database. The importance of this study the customers must be satisfied in waiting their bill in lesser time to enjoy more time in resort. The system user particularly the cashier must give extra effort to learn the system as well as, how the accountant report sales gather easily in database for printing reports. The system must be user-friendly.
B. Background of the Study
This study is about the Billing Management and Reservation System for Villa Reina Mini Resort, software that will help their work easy and manageable. This system is about the process of their billing and reservation for the company. It can print the receipts and helping them to easily track the reports needed and print as well. Convenience to use for the cashier because of the speed response of the program. In the year 1995, there was a fishpond along Catmon, Malolos Bulacan, a year by Mrs. Reineria Ople gave birth to her first baby, and that is the time she decides to expand as a mini resort and named “Villa Reina Mini Resort” the company was named after Mrs. Reineria Ople the owner. Villa Reina Mini Resort was been in the market for seventeen (17) years. The resort started at one (1) pool and six (6) tables with umbrella. By popularity, the resort can’t accommodate the numbers of costumer; the company expands the place and adds some facilities, more cottages, function halls, pavilion, air-con rooms, and conference room. The resort offers a venue and a reception for wedding, baptismal, birthday party, debut seminar, conference, reunions and other special occasions.

Villa Reina Mini Resort is located at Catmon, City of Malolos Bulacan, from Malolos crossing straight ahead of Bulacan State University and turn left , go with the street line and might notice passing the small bridge, slow down because the resort is in the left side. Figure 1.2
