Take Harry Styles and Taylor Swift for example, as soon as their relationship ended, news spread fast and everyone hated harry showing nothing but antipathy towards him, blaming him for the breakup, claiming they knew everything about it when they had no evidence to back up their story. Because the media just happened to turn up at the right moment and take a few pictures of the couple walking away from each other they were able to make up their own story. All paparazzi want is money, they take a few pictures of celebrities, make up their own little story to stir up tension and sell it to the media. That way they get money for taking a few pictures and making up a story that they 'think' is true or they 'assume' people will believe and instantly change their views on the celebrity.
The media portray celebrities like royalty, every single thing they do, everywhere they go, who they talk to, who they are seen with, the paparazzi are there sniffing around waiting for something juicy to happen so they can get a quick picture to sell for money.
They have no sympathy for their privacy and intrude when they are not wanted.
