Celebrities can’t walk a block down the street without being recognized or tracked by the paparazzi. And most celebrities, if you ask them, will admit that they can’t stand it, but there’s nothing that they can do about it. Their every move is being photographed so they don’t have much say in what gets said about them in tabloids. Their image depends on what the press decides to publish about them. But I believe that they have some control over their perception because they can control what they do, say, and post on social media.

Although celebrities can’t always control whether they end up on the front cover of a magazine, they can control what they say in front of others. In Kirthana Ramisetti’s article, Kris Jenner says she thinks that is the main reason why her family found fame. When Bruce Jenner started his Olympic career, Kris gave motivational speeches discussing the enthusiasm, and determination of her husband. She promoted him, and has done the same for the rest of the family. She eventually used their reality TV show to land clothing lines, and brands for her daughters.
