With over millions of users, they allowed you to look up just about anyone; it was a good way to stay in touch with friends, family members or maybe someone you graduated with years ago. It made it easy for people to stay in contact or form relationships and talk to just about anyone. But what people really don’t know is that social media comes with many negative affects. People spend so many hours on the website that they forget their relationship to the real world or how to socialize and interact with others. Which isn’t a good thing, socializing is apart of peoples everyday lives. Social media when used at a young can dramatically affect someone’s social life when interacting with people, because they will not know how to communicate with words face to face. Its okay to spend time on social medias, just as long as you don’t spend a lot of time on these websites. Its not good to lose your socializing skills. Not only does it affect their daily lives but it starts to affect their work environment. Many business require that you spend some time on these website selling products or talking to clients about their

Social media and networking has erupted in the past few years. The means in which individuals communicate has shifted to a point where some cannot even remember living differently. This new age has brought many advances in the ways we live; it also though has hindered the ways in which humans physically function. Whether you were born in the 60's or in the past 10 years, this impact has had a ripple effect and is now changing everyone. People are now able to communicate in seconds across the world. Businesses have made connections that may not have been possible before this new technological age. With this new technology and cyber life, has also come many challenges. These challenges exist in the human mind. Sigmund Freud brought into play the idea that the human mind actually has a series of what can be seen as checks and balances. Changes though can sometimes be too much and they can actually harm they ways in which humans think and interact. The changes that have come have cause people to become vulnerable and the minds across the world have become an open to influences both good and bad.…

Many teenagers love social media because of its wide connectivity and function that people can receive it for free; it does not require money to make an account and use it. Facebook is the most visible among various social media. What’s impressive about this site is that you can easily connect with your long lost friends and see how they’re doing, or vice versa. You can also make new friends in Facebook. Though this could get addictive and may divert our attention away from the real world. Like what Cornell University’s Steven Strogatz said; “Social media sites can make it more difficult for us to distinguish between meaningful relationships we foster in the real world, and the numerous casual relationships formed through social media.” I strongly agree with this statement. Also, people become a whole new person, because it’s the Internet. People can be anything or anyone in the Internet.…
