The book is mainly told through the main character Amber Walker but the book does get told through Liam’s point of view. I first read The Boy Who Sneaks In My Bedroom Window actually in my sophomore year but I didn’t even get through the first page before forgetting about. I started reading it again this year and I liked it. I immediately liked reading it after I began from where I last left off. I connected with Amber and Liam after reading through the few chapters. Like Amber, I am reserved, smart and a hothead. With Liam, I see comparisons like we are both protective, and loyal.Even though Amber, Liam, and me have our similarities we have our differences. …show more content…

The novel Boy21 was written by author Matthew Quick. The story takes place in the broken down city of Bellmont. The author organizes the novel in chronological order to keep the time frames in correlation with when the events occurred. The setting is critical to the story because the school he goes to generally has a direct effect on events that occur during the story. The story has both a humorous but serious tone throughout different parts of the story.…

I'm here to inform you of this wonderful and horrible relationship between a clueless girl and a dangerous boy in the novel Jake Riley; Irreparably damaged by Rebecca Davis and why you should check it out sometime. Set sometime in the 1990s or current time, it's about a girl named Lainey. Even though Lainey is fast and smart, she just can't seem to get away from one particular friend. Although there are many instances of this ‘friendship’ being crooked, she just can't seem to stay away, and this confusing yet somehow touching truth is shown in the novel when Lainey is thinking to herself, “I hate Jake’s guts, but somehow the fact that everybody gangs up on him and thinks that he’ll get help in the place that damaged him makes me want to beat…

When I was younger I was an unemotional kid who for whatever reason people were intimidated by me. This has managed to follow me throughout my life although I have been slowly losing the reputation as a cold fish as I move to different schools. When I went from Elementary school to Junior High a lot of that reputation was lost because I was no longer a part of the popular kids, but no matter if I wasn’t trying to put out that vibe, it always resurfaced and is apparently just a part of my personality. Even in high school, I was apparently intimidating, especially to other girls. One of my really good friends now even wrote in my yearbook that she was afraid of me originally but then realized I was very friendly and I asked my roommates what…
