Why should reproductive cloning be wasting taxpayers money, if there is no point for it? Therapeutic cloning can help many with health, growing hair and save lives. Many diseases can be cured with the use of therapeutic cloning and that's why I support it. There should be no point of cloning another human if it is not medical related. It would be costly and there is no real reason for it. Reproductive cloning is creating an animal or human that is genetically identical to a donor animal/human through somatic cell nuclear transfer. I would not support reproductive cloning. Therapeutic cloning is used for medical purposes and reproductive is human or animal cloning. Therapeutic cloning can cure cancer and save your life or someone close to you
There are so many positives and benefits from therapeutic cloning. “We may be able to cure cancer if cloning leads to a better understanding of cell differentiation”(Smith). “Cloning can be used to get more hair from a few sample hair follicles of grafts from the patient's head and then grow them”(Smith). This shows that it can possibly cure cancer which has no solution right now and also let people with no hair grow hair. This can be from some type of disease that makes their hair fall such as cancer. This can make them very happy and can make the person more confident in themselves.
