This building was opposite Sultan Abdul Samad and city gallery. Nowadays, it became one of the beautiful heritage building and famous landmarks around Kuala Lumpur. This historic, attractive, and elegant building which was the mixed of Mughal and Islamic style architecture. This elegant building was designed by British architect, Arthur Benison Hubback (A.B. Before A.B.Hubbak built this building, he was influenced by Indian Islamic style so he brings in the concept of the mixed of Islamic and Mughal style into this heritage building. The National Textile Museum is a 2 ½-storey building, this heritage building has a distinctive red and white banding by alternating red bricks with plastered one, on top of each octagonal tower is a concrete onion-shaped dome and it surrounded by smaller dome through that onion-shaped. The red and white banding and those beautiful onion-shape domes are significant of this building. On this building, there have 4 big onion-shape domes and 16 mini onion-shape domes. In this heritage building there total have 94 doors 7 different type, 116 windows 11 type in total and 227 arches 25 type in total. In 2008 they using 96 glass panel to built glass lobby. This glass lobby was added and it became a place to provide people a space to rest, this glass lobby added to make this heritage building like the modern mixed old style, make it has owned
