A. Outputs
Current Outputs
Daily cash receipts transmitted and deposited in local bank and credited to corporate Personal Trainer account
Daily activity report will sales transactions
Generate end of month accounts receivable summary for all branch locations
Create billing statements to be mailed to me members
Monthly sales report
Exception Report for inactive and or late payers
Quarterly profit-and-loss report that shows a breakdown of revenue and cost for each separate activity

Email communications to members
Report that reflects the probability of each specific business activity
B. Inputs
Current Inputs
Charge slips that record merchandise purchases and service fees
Entry of cash sales and charges
Proposed Additional Inputs
Receive data via scannable ID cards
Member workout data to create wellness and activity logs
C. Processes
Point of service device that scans member cards and translates to usable data
Information system can use trend data to schedule promotions and temporary discounts
System will require member kiosks at workout stations to record workout data
Information system must incorporate and expand upon existing accounting system
System must be compatible with social networking services
D. Performance
Ability to transmit necessary data to central data center
300-500 members’ average center size, given the new facility is considered a super center system should be able to handle 500-1000 members
E. Security/Control
Database with secure back-up on central server, that allows for customer record to be added, changed, or deleted only by appropriate staff
Antivirus, Anti-Malware, and Firewall software to protect:
Customer personal information
Company financial information
During the system analysis phase the analyst uses carefully constructed tools
