Summer Mall Organisation Analysis
Introduction
Summer Mall is the first Shopping Mall open in the area which was developed by Tetap Majumas Sdn Bhd.
The three-storey landmark building covering 800,000 square feet build on the mixed development of residential, commercial and education hub of Kota Samarahan looking forward to cater over 300,000 population of the area.
With “Everything Under One Roof” concept, the mall is an integrated development comprising over 335 retail lots with a wide range of trade mix including fashion & lifestyle retails, food & beverages, entertainment and Servay Hypermarket and Parkwell Departmental store as the anchor tenants.
We had decided to analyst the beverages business in Summer Mall as we believe that the beverage business is in increasing demands especially bubble teas and smoothies. We have analysed two different organizations from the same type of business available in the shopping complex which is the Ding Tea and Farmer’s Crib.

Objectives
• To carry out organisation analysis between two similar type of business in Summer Mall at Kota Samarahan.

The organizations for the study
• Ding Tea, a franchise beverages from Taiwan, plans to have a total of eight outlets in the state by the end of this year. It’s fifth outlet was officially opened in Summer Mall with existing outlet at Eastern Mall in Siburan, Tun

Young people like teenagers enjoy all these fancy, colourful and sweet drinks that tantalize their taste buds. They do not have much money as most of them are students but they enjoy giving themselves a treat or two if they have extra disposable income. Young people are not very concerned about nutritional values too.
