Statement of Purpose

[Purpose]
In the changing field of Engineering and Technology where each new day sees a spate of new concepts and applications and each passing day makes them obsolete, I wish to have the highest level of education and transcend new horizons. My decision to take up Computer Science was a logical culmination to my fascination for Software designs and programming which started as mere curiosity but soon developed into an obsession. Restricting to one area of study with tremendous competition around is not very helpful and the versatility of courses in this Program amazes me and fosters my keenness in joining this program.
During my under graduation study, I have benefited from the breadth of Christu Jyothi Institute of Science and Technology's faculty and subject content which has given me a comprehensive exposure to the core areas of Electronics and Communications. My course also helped me to gain basic fundamentals of Information Technology through a well-structured curriculum which nurtured an idea to shape my career in the way of computers and programming, which eventually turned into my career goal. …show more content…
This interest made me to take Electronics & Communication Engineering as my major. As a part of my undergraduate curriculum, I was exposed to various essential courses, with applications like: Computer programming (C, Data Structures), Cellular and Mobile Communications, Switching Theory and Logic Design (logic gates), VLSI programming, Digital Signal processing, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers which were my firm favourites. Studying the above said courses made my journey through the first five semesters very enthralling. In due course of time, my interests gradually turned towards computer and programming related
