Spider-Man just saved Gwen from dying by the Green goblin, so now he is on national TV explaining how he enjoys helping people. Spider-Man aka “Peter Parker” kissed Gwen on national tv, so Mary his bride to be told him they breaking up with each other. He feels so foolish for for kissing Gwen, but that's wasn't his biggest mistake. Detective George notified Peter that Dennis was not the killer of Uncle Ben. Peter couldn't believe that for that meant he had beaten up the wrong guy, so now he wants the real killer to get what's coming to him. Detective George informs him that Marko was the killer. What Peter doesn't realize is that Marko has become Sandman. The urge to go Spider-Man and find Marko was what he wanted to do until he heard a crash at Central park. Venom was following Spider-Man as he was going back to his apartment. Peter went to sleep with his Spidey suit on but was unaware that venom was getting closer to him. Venom started attaching itself to Spider-Man and this is where Peter starts to change. Peter wakes up hanging from a skyscraper and noticed his suit was all black. Spider-Man noticed his skills had enhanced from the suit, but so did his confidence. He saw Sandman robbing a bank, so Spider-Man started fighting him brutally. I understand Spider-Man action since Sandman killed his Uncle. However, Spider-Man doesn't know that venom is making him more aggressive. Black Spider-Man is not trying to win the fight, but he is actually trying to kill Sandman. Spider- Man would never try to kill someone, so it was easy to notice something was wrong with Peter. Peter started accepting the change that was happening to him. He starts attaining this bad boy quality which starts getting amusing to viewers. He starts talking to people rudely, and kept flirting with girls. Until he meets Gwen, who really likes his new personality
