Some People Think That Fashion Is Very Important Nowadays.
People began to appreciate the fashion in recent years. Today everyone wants to look beautiful. It explains why fashion is getting more and more popular. How do fashion influence the life of people?
In my opinion, fashion is important in some cases. First of all, people that do not follow fashion, are not interested in modern world. Consequently, fashion mirrors the modern society. As e result, fashion is an essential instrument for showing the world who we really are, how beautiful we are both outside and inside, how we can choose stylish clothes from a heap of rags. Finally, it is impossible to say that fashion is not important. It is important anyway because everyone follows fashion. It concerns not only clothes, but the way do some things, the way we behave and so on.
On the other hand, some people claim, that fashion is not important because it is constantly changing and rehashing all of the things that have already been done. Besides, people can judge you on fashion and your appearance and this is not a good idea.
I strongly disagree with this point of view because Iassume that nowadays if you would like to be successful person you should look fashionable. If you wear expensive and trendy clothes people will trust you and they will want to have deal with you.
Despite other people's opinion, I still believe that people should follow fashion and in the same time choose only those trends that suit and adorn them, which express their individuality and highlight their sense of

Fashion mainly refers to anything which is popular in a culture at any given time, it is inclusive of areas such as; style of dress, cuisine, literature, art, architecture, fashion trends and many other popular factors. Coco Chanel said, “Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.” Fashion is readily accessible so it is easy for an individual to use it to express themself to others as it helps to show who they are and depict their personality in the terms of visual information. Andy Bennett (2005) confirms that, “fashion provides one of the most ready means through which individuals can make expressive individual statements about their identities” (p.96). He also points out (p. 95) that “of the many commodities and leisure resources through which individuals in contemporary society construct and play out identities in their everyday lives fashion plays a central role”. It is particularly necessary for individuals to express their individuality and position themselves in relation to others in modern society because of the fast pace of life and anonomity of it, as theorist J Entwistle observes “fashion is particularly relevant in the context of ‘the modern city (where) we mingle with crowds of strangers”.(Bennett, p 96) Bennett argues that the relative anomonity of modern day life “calls for highly visual and relatively instantaneous means of asserting one’s identity”.(p.96) Fashion enables a person to do this and consequently can be an influential resource, so the statement that “fashion is a key resource through which individuals in late modernity construct their identities and position themselves in relation to others” seems to…

Change is inevitable, as Charles Darwin has proven through his theory of evolution. Starting from as early as the 13th century to the present day, fashion and its role in society has significantly evolved. The evidence of this evolution shows exactly how the connection between fashion and social status within different societies has changed over time. Fashion is a very popular part of any culture, with a variety of different colors, fabrics, designs and brands. Of course the sole purpose of clothes comes naturally to us as we do not ask ourselves "Should I get dressed today?", but instead we ask "What should I wear?" This question has subsequently lead to the stereotyping of one's appearance to their social status.…

Is the way a person dresses important? It can be said: “yes”, it is. It is important not only for the impression he creates for the people around him, but also there is a more important factor- that the clothes a person wears makes them feel good. Whenever a person goes somewhere he is like a turtle, and his clothes are his shell, and when he goes somewhere he needs to be dressed well, and even if the occasion is not important, and he just goes for a walk with his dog, understanding that his “shell” looks nice, and perfectly suits him makes him feel more comfortable. So, a person who wears nice clothes is more successful and self-confident. Unfortunately, according to what we can see not all people in society are following this straight forward principle. Most of them just don’t care about how they look, and then some of them might complain about being unsuccessful. Maybe this carelessness could be a reason for their failures. Some people may argue that clothes are not so important, and it depends on a person, and how smart he is, and that only hard work can influence success. However, it does matter, and it is very important to have a nice clothes!…
