Setup
1) Open a new document in Microsoft Word
2) Page Layout Menu →Orientation Landscape →Margins Custom set to 0.3”
3) Go to the Home Menu→ RIGHT CLICK on Heading 1 and select Modify
a. You won’t need to make any changes. Just review the default settings which will work for the remainder of this project. There are other setting, under different sections, you will need to change.
4) Click on the Home Menu → RIGHT CLICK on Normal in the Styles gallery and select
Modify
a. Change the Font to Ariel
b. Make the size 16 pt
c. For Style for the following paragraph select HEADING 1
d. Click OK
5) Click on the View Menu
a. Click On Page Width
6) Click on Insert Menu
a. Click on Insert Header and drag to Blank Style Header
b. On the top right side of the screen put a check in Different First Page box
c. DO NOT CLOSE THE HEADER
7) Click on the Insert Menu
a. Click on Shapes and choose the diagonal Line button (looks like this)

b. Hold the shift key down and draw a straight line in the header box all the way to the right side of the screen. It will look like this

c. With the line still selected click on the Shape Outline List arrow and drag to Blue, accent 1, darker 50%. Then hit OK
d. Click on Shape List Arrow again and choose Weight Style 6 then click OK. It will look like this…….

8) At the top of the screen click on Header and Footer Tools Design Tab
a. Click on the Go To Footer Icon
9) Minimize your window and go to the internet. Find an image of the map of Florida
a. Copy and paste the picture into the footer box (right click the mouse on picture and drag to copy image)
b. Paste the picture in the footer (right click drag to paste)
c. Double click on the map of FL that you just pasted
d. On the TOP RIGHT part of the screen make the height 1 “
e. Now Click on Text Wrapping and Choose In Front Of text
f. Then drag the map to the right side of the footer box
g. Double click inside the footer box to close it
