My name is....... I am hispanic, 15 years old, and I attend .........School as a Sophomore. I am quiet if i do not know the person I’m around. Once you get to know me, you find out I am not as shy as I may seem. I am a responsible young adult, who extremely cares about her grades and being successful in life. I have high standards for myself and I would like to always meet them. I am the second oldest of two sisters and one brother. My parents push me to do good in school, and expect a lot from me. They expect me to go far in life, especially to college. I consider myself a responsible person. I am currently taking all Pre AP and AP courses. I try my best to stay caught up on all of the work that is assigned. In these advanced courses, there is so much work that is given. Yes it causes me to stress a whole bunch, but it’ll be worth it in the long run. All of the advanced courses that I take are major struggles I deal with. I get so overwhelmed with work, I feel like I can’t handle all the pressure. The thing that helps me stay positive is knowing how it’ll greatly benefit me in the future. My parents have always been strict on me and my siblings. They want us to accomplish our goals that we have in life. My parents have especially been strict on me, because they expect so much more from me. They are always encouraging me to try my hardest in school, so that I can get scholarships and attend the college of my dreams. They want me to be the first of their children to graduate college, since both of my parents started college, but didn’t finish. I’ve always told my parents how I want to be a Registered Nurse (RN) when I grow up. I like the idea of being able to help someone, and maybe even save a person’s life.
I’ve already looked into some colleges that have a major in Nursing. There are some really good colleges that i have in mind, that I would love to attend. I want to get scholarships to attend the college that I will do my Nursing major in., I already

The word essay derives from the French infinitive essayer, to try or to attempt. The Frenchman (Michel de Montaigne 1533–1592) was the first author to describe his work as essays; he used the term to characterize these as attempts to put his thoughts into writing. Francis Bacon's essays, published in book form in 1597, 1612, and 1625, were the first works in English that described themselves as essays. (Jonson, 1609) first used the word essayist in English, according to the Dictionary. An essay is a piece of writing which is often written from an author's personal point of view. Essays can consist of a number of elements, including: literary criticism, political manifestos, learned arguments, observations of daily life, recollections, and reflections of the author. The definition of an essay is vague, overlapping with those of an article and a short story. Almost all modern essays are written in prose, but works in verse have been dubbed essay.…
