It looked small and cosy and felt like a home but I couldn’t help notice a peculiar tree, which hung heavily over the abandoned hut. I followed the tree up and down in great detail until I reached the shrub. I was stunned by what my eyes had seen, confused incase my mind was playing games; it was like it was delusional. I blinked once; twice; three times. The image didn’t even glitch out of sight. Still there was a thin white figure who was hunched up in a small compact ball leaning against the large tree-trunk, the figures long black hair draped over her knees as she clutched strongly onto a razor sharp knife dripping with deep red blood...…

I see myself laying down and looking at the sky. It looked like I was in heaven. When I got up I saw a house. I went inside and saw a paper. It said that my mission is to kill the Ender Dragon. I didn't know a thing about Ender Dragon. I searched the house and looked at the world. the world was made up of blocks. Not one block or two blocks. Thousands of them. Haphazardly I realized that I was in mine-craft. A game that I used to play this game when I was seven years old. I thought that it was only a dream, so I tried to wake myself up. But I couldn't. I still thought that it was a dream and went with it. Near me was a waterfall and some chickens. I went in my house. There was a chest, laying there, and I opened the chest. When I opened…

Luckily, I made it to my car unscathed, but the cloaked figures weren’t far behind. I looked behind me for a split second and noticed the town hall doors swing open. The dead walked towards me as I tried to move back, in his hands were a pair of bloodstained pocket knife. A hard wall smashed against my head, for I accidently backed up on the wall. Black dots blocked my sight, with little consciousness that remained in myself. I rolled into a ball as the creature closed in, still screaming because I was going to die in any moment. I buried my head, trying to to sink in the snow as much as possible. As I was praying, a distant voice, kept calling my name. It was my friend Molly, who was also the owner of the store. She shook my shoulders violently, as I was blinded by the snow. I looked up again, nothing had happened. Looking across, the pile of snow remained unharmed. Snow flurried down again.…

Online, physically, or verbally you can be a victim of being bullied. You don’t have to keep things as they are. The question is how to handle the situation (Do you attack the bully and become the bully yourself? Or do you ignore the bully and pretend all is well?) What you do is speak up and ask for help. I would know, because not only was I a victim, I was also a person who stood by and simply watched it happen.…

Blood flowing out of my skull and hands. I can feel my whole head throbbing. The surges of pain continue over and over. I decide to pull strength from within to get up to check out the quad. I soon realize that the crack I heard was the snapping of the axle rod forcing the tire to be bent and rendering the quad un-drivable. Leaving the quad behind, I decided to walk back to camp. Of course I forgot my phone back at camp not planning that I would be taking a mouthful of dirt. As I walk I notice a white figure out of the corner of my eye. Since I was hurt and not sensible, my first thought was that this figure is a flesh seeking monster ready to gobble up my entire body whole. Given the fact that I actually believed that, I began to quicken my pace from a walk to a jog to a sprint. Just as I was ready to fall over and die of exhaustion, I notice an orange glow near me. This time it wasn’t a monster it was light coming from my camp’s fire. After my lengthy journey, I reached my dad and he rushed over to me baffled by my injury. With tears in my eyes, I sat down and began to regurgitate the whole experience. That night as I drift off into the abyss that was my dreams, I settled on the fact that the white figure was only the tail of a squirrel. I guess I deserved that fright given the fact that I did invade his…

The spider started walking around the room to see if I was in there. I had the bench, a stool, and a bunch of random objects I found in my moms room and closet. I ran to the closet and locked that door as well, and the top of the closet there was a hole leading up to the attic. I was always too frightened to go up into the attic due to spiders, rats, and other unknown things that could be up there. I knew if I had to go up though. I started climbing onto the shelves of the closet and opened up the cover into the attic. There was cobwebs and I was covered in them. I shut the door to the attic and sat trying not to make any noise at all. I sat in the attic as silent as Anne Frank was while she was in hiding. I sat in a room full of stress and anxiousness. An hour passed and there was no noise. I couldn’t sit in the attic all day, I had to get out eventually. Thirty minutes later, I peeked open the door to see into the closet, nothing was there and it was dead silent. I jumped out of the attic trying to be as quiet as a hummingbird. I tiptoed to peek out of the bathroom. There right in front of me was the monster. I was trapped, there was nothing I could do besides to plead and cry. I felt a big wind that felt like something was being sucked out of me. The monster looked at me almost as he was seeing through me. The baby head laughed and slowly, the whole monster slowly started…

Being in high-school should definitely be the best four years of your life. Most people forget that these years is what usually makes up for the rest of your life. For example some people choose to study hard, pass their classes, and then have fun with the time they got left over. Others choose to use up all their time for fun and never pass classes or dedicate any type of time towards their education and usually get held back a couple of years like I did. If you really want to make high-school the best years of your life then I would suggest choosing option A so that you enjoy all the festivities and parties with friends without having to make-up for lost time.…

Persuasive Essay : Many people would be happy and satisfied if they were in a relationship with money and fame. Doesn't that seem like the perfect life? Everyone begins to think that in life that's all that matters, and that's all they need, nothing could be better. Society dictates our morals, feelings, the way we do things and try's to tell us certain things we do are wrong and we need to do them the way they feel necessary. Our generations to come will have no clue what the meaning of a true, harmonious, happy life. They begin to think that not telling the truth is ok , and eventually get so use to it that even if they could hear the truth they wouldn't want to. It becomes part of their daily life. Clearly our society, or government has their own sneaky, conniving ways to try and brain wash everyone. Due to the problem that most people would rather have love, money, and fame, it's very rare to find some one who doesn't have any of that but is satisfied with only knowing the truth. People look up to celebrities, but they do not set good examples or try to be role models. In proposing a solution to the problem of adhering to the actions of celebrities, the analysis relates to Henry David Thoreau's belief in individuality as he talked about in his book Walden. Who is your hero? Usually the answer to this question, at least for many of us, involves a famous actor or singer, a celebrity. The celebrities of the world are the wealthiest, most beautiful and most stylish individuals to walk upon the planet. These icons, however, seem to have no moral dilemma whatsoever with corrupting the public. They are role models to the public, just as parents are role models to their children. Children mirror the actions of their parents, as does society the actions of celebrities. Suddenly, few people in the world are content because they do not live the same lifestyle as Madonna or Michael Jordan. Henry David Thoreau offers solutions in his work, Walden, to the constant societal…

To my dear surprise it is legal in some states to get married at the age of 14, as long as there is parental and court approval. To me this is completely shocking! I myself have an 11 year old daughter and if she were to come to me at 14 years old and ask to get married I would say “NO” without any hesitation. In my opinion, 14 is not just too young to get married, it is too young to have a boyfriend for that matter. It apparently isn’t just the child’s fault for thinking it is ok, I would strongly suggest that the child’s parents be evaluated. What parent in their right mind would be ok with their 14 year old child getting married?…

This essay will be about the legal issues of marijuana. The California government chooses to have a vote in California and other states and it passed the vote, now the federal government is trying to shut down dispensaries in the state. Even though California passed the vote in 1996 to allow the use of medical marijuana for medical use, the drug is still illegal under federal law. According to federal law, any amount found on a person is a misdemeanor and holds a fine of $1,000 and up to 1 year in jail, and state law states that 28.5 grams or less only carries a $100 fine.…
