Executive summary:-
This report is focused on Australian Customs Service's Cargos Management Re-engineering (CMR) Project. This report is based on Australian audit office about for information age for Australian computer society. Here we are going to discuss about scope, time, cost and quality management and integration management that has been neglected. For this they create a new integrated system (ICT). This is very crucial for customs, and there security as well as transport companies, agents, imports, In this most common problem is customs interactions and lack of knowledge about new software. When there is interactive session , the data was visible on that time the possibility is data integrity. There are some issues with wastage of money due to insufficient capacity in ports. So there will arise non technical and technical issues. Without the awareness of data security and lack of knowledge about new software, will become more risks on confidential data loose, data consistency and safety procedures of customs. In this report we discuss about the data visibility, poor management. To overcome from this problem we set some policy, procedures and standards .The solution of this CMR is integrated cargo system (ICR). Customs Connect Facility is for Customs Connect. We have to give proper training to our staff about the new software.

Introduction:-
In this report we arise in and about Australian Customs Service's Cargo Management Re-engineering (CMR) Project. It was the Largest e-government project and a huge change in customs before Federations. This whole project is about Information Age. This project is published by Australian Society. Australian Customs Re-engineering is appears in ICT. The cargo management launches on 12 October previous year. CIO of Australian Customs is Murray Harrison and he operates manufactures and merchants losses as media -fuelled fire-storm of flak. Firstly in October 2004 CMR cornerstone to ICS. According to Harrison it was disaster based on large number of parties involved in import system. As recorded First day system course of action with 50,000 messages. But it cause lots of problems there like Customs Interactive overload and its cause human errors as well cause lack of knowledge about new software which is nightmare on busy working hours. AS it is replacement of existing COMPILE system. it was basically designed for seaborne imports through electronic data interchange (EDI). New system got problems like data loss during interactive session, problems like security and lack of knowledge. For CMR , the core is Integrated Cargo System (ICS). The gateway of Customs Interactive (CI) is Customs Connect Facility. Integrated Cargo System (ICS) was as it named a integrated system that enhances it risk assessment and allow cargo tracking in efficient manner with some function points. It operates in IBM OS390 in CICS environment with DB2 database management. It got CCF (Customs Connect Facility). It was allowing staff to track messages through CCF.

Identification and analysis of issues:
This system is big in size which which made with high level programming and hardware so its very complex to understand where is problem and its lack of efficiency generate lots of issues regards customs interactive, human error caused by lack of knowledge. Because the system is large in size and lots of queries to handle which is hard to understand. Its the largest e-government project since Federation to change Customs. It replaces the old COMPILE system. This was firstly designed for seaborne imports through...
