THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
Introduction:
The interesting characteristics of a teacher who is inclined to leadership are of various types among which is his integrity, interest, imitative and right idealism accepted by his co-teachers. Other characteristics included are his sincerity in the service, self -sacrifice, social justice to make life better for the members of his group dedication, discipline and devotion to duty. According to Hemphill (2002), a teacher who is inclined to leadership has an exemplary work for others to follow and could influence the group to follow course of action he advocates even if he is not the leader. In addition, such as teacher must process a high mental ability, honesty, credibility, experience, and firmness in his conviction as well as good human relations.
