Reflective Essay Writing Course Analysis
My attendance in this course was somewhat below than average. I work at two jobs and I've been closing fro a few weeks. I had to submit assignments that were late and got a decent grade. It was hard and I do regret not doing these assignments earlier. I take full responsibility in that and I have no excuses.
Participating in the Blackboard discussions were fascinating and it was worth it. I got a chance to meet fellow classmates and the course instructor. They were nice people and were full of potential. I'm glad I got the opportunity to work with them and share feedback with one another. I always try to be one here after I work or on my days off. Most of the time, I get called into. work and I have to close. That's when I come home late at night and try to do my assignments. On my days off, that's

I once had a thesis that's interesting to a few classmates and were looking forward to reading it. Unfortunately, it wasn't part of the rubric. So I chose a different thesis that required a lot of research and different point of views. Not only that, but the MLA formatting was very tiring. It takes a while for me to format an essay. One more thing is having to write a response that required two hundred and fifty words. That took a long time to do. Very tiring.
Sometimes, I complete a few assignments at the very last minute. It's very difficult because when I do that, I misspell words in my writing and my paragraphs are short. This is one of my issues that I need to correct because it has done nothing but decrease my grades in this course. I'm definitely not happy about that.
I definitely need to improve on my writing basically. I do need to fix my run on sentences and avoid any grammatical errors. Once I do that, I'm sure that my future writing assignment won't be garbage and get a low grade. I will definitely use PaperRater to help me in my writing and reading comprehension. I'll also ask the teacher for help if I need

Think Like a Freak offers practical solutions to real problems by teaching readers how to train their brains to think in new and unique ways and how to think freely in a world shrouded by the color of bias. The authors’ insight into human thinking, behavior, and motivation is presented in a way that is applicable to situations and problems in everyday life. The semester started off the same as most. I go into it telling myself that I will stay caught up this time. I won’t allow myself to do assignments at the last minute. As usual these promises are quickly broken. I work eight to twelve hours a day and six days a week most weeks, so often when I get home, the last thing I want to do is homework. This means putting everything for most of my classes off till Sunday. A habit I have sadly been in for the better part of my time at Gateway.…

Over the course of this year in English, I think my writing process has excelled the most along with my overall writing. In the past, I have used similar techniques to develop a final essay, but, this year, I have begin to rely more heavily on planning out and slowly chipping away at my essays and papers. I believe also that because of this planning the strength of my writing as a whole has grown. Personally, I do not think that I grew in my vocabulary usage. Overall this year, I grew as a writer in ways that I would not have predicted.…

The skills I had developed up until this point further evolved in the AP (Advanced Placement) English class I attended during my senior year. AP English was the most challenging literature class I took during my time in high school; it was also the most enjoyable and rewarding. We read literary works such as “The Poisonwood Bible” by Barbara Kingsolver; “The Invisible Man” by Ralph Waldo Emerson; “Frankenstein” by Mary Shelley; “The Things They Carried” by ???; and “A Doll’s House” by Henrik Ibsen. Although the reading load was rather intense, I especially enjoyed applying the critical analysis skills I had developed up to this point to these novels. It is difficult to establish which book was my favorite to read and interpret; I found each to be eloquently written and representative of realistic life situations, both contemporary and historical.…

Extremely worried, her parents inquired regarding their daughter's future, alleviating their worries, the doctor's advice to them was to be diligent and "treat her as you would a normal child." Knowing I have been different did not stop me from participating fully in life, especially during my childhood. In December 2012, we received the wonderful news that the final hole had closed. The odds were in my favor since I have been lucky to have never needed surgery, nor required hospital care from a critical injury. I believe that there is a reason I exist on this earth; and my blueprint…
