INTRODUCTION Rahimafrooz, Founded in 1950 by Late A.C. Abdur Rahman as a trading company. In 1954 the company was incorporated as a limited company called Rahimafrooz (PAK) limited. In 1959 to set a up a modern automotive battery factor it entered a joint venture with Lucas, UK. It is one the largest, reputated and respected business groups in Bangladesh. It has crossed more than 50 years making their small trading business into large as well as leading one. Now it consists of nine SBUs and several other affiliations. Rahimafrooz is now the market leader covering 80% of the market share this is possible due to the trust and support from its stakeholders and most importantly customers. The group’s chairman is Mr. Afroz Rahim and the Managing Director is Mr. Firoz Rahim operates in three broad domains: automotive aftermarket, power and energy, and retail chain. Now Rahimafrooz is a giant company with a dynamic growth and not only sell batteries along with that IPS, UPS, solar system, electric equipment etc. In our report we are going to focus on its managerial functions, organizational behavior, environment analysis, human resource practices, corporate social responsibilities and many other tools that Rahimafrooz use.

MANAGERIAL FUNCTIONS •The planning process
Planning process is mainly done by top level managers in Rahimafrooz. Rahimafrooz has product managers for every product. For example, they have different managers for battery, CNG conversion unit, and tires. All the seven corporate offices have individual production managers and these managers do all the production and distribution function for their fields.
