Putin’s winning of presidency for 6 years has brought up a lot of questions. Russia has a different view of how to run their country. They chose the autocracy route; which means that Putin is put in complete power over Russia. To some people this a fabulous thing but to others it is just scary. After the fall of communism, the economy in Russia fell way behind most countries. It was thought that going to democracy would change the country for the better but they were oh so wrong. To completely destroy communism in their country they would have to get rid of everything it has affected and start all over. Putin has always been involved politically. He had an opinion of his country but now he is the country. A portion of Russians have mix feelings toward his winning of the election. It was aware to most countries and other rulers that Putin liked communism but that did not necessarily mean he was going to bring it back. Communism affected his perspective in politics. In the New York Times, it was explained in an article that Putin was looking for an idea that would put him in complete power over his country. Patriotism was his answer. The society and environment had begun to developed soon after. Also, in this article, it has been said that Putin has broughten up the economy and make it more stable. As mentioned before the economy had made a fall after communism did, but as soon as Putin gained presidency and was in charge, he made a difference by gathering his loyal companions. He knew his enemies and he knew he had to stay away from them or destroy them because it would cost trouble, so he did.
