Project Analyst Interview
Dear Mr. Kidwell,

Thank you again for taking the time to interview me today. I had a great time visiting Mintz Levin and meeting you and your colleagues. I very much enjoyed our conversation about your work in antitrust, the project analyst role, and what a legal career looks like. I am excited to have had this opportunity to interview for the project analyst position, and please let me know if there is any additional information that I can give you.

Sincerely,
Hannah

Psychologists have been studying human behavior for many years and they have come up with lots of theories as to why some behave one way and others another. One theory is that a person’s environment defines who they are; another theory is that a person can inherit certain traits, either way in the end all of the different theories contribute to who we are. There are different ways to which we can learn behaviors, like operant conditioning and classical conditioning. Operant conditioning is when a person has an experience that may have had an effect on them and they are reminded of that experience anytime that they are around something similar, this creates a behavior. Then there is classical conditioning which is a behavior that is installed in a person maybe from their childhood, like for instance a parent installing success, this is also a learned behavior.…

The internet places vast amounts of information at our fingertips. More and more customers view the website first before they visit a store or make contact with the company. A company’s web page is becoming the face of the corporation in today’s marketplace. The design of that web page can either entice or detract a potential customer from seeking assistance. Web page design companies use project managers to supervise web page construction for corporate and government clients. The success or failure of these pages depends on the use of sound project planning and metrics. Practical use of these metrics will win clients. The improper use of planning and metrics will drive business away. Having a project manager that can use the metrics to their advantage will ensure the web design company can stay profitable.…

    Entrepreneur Interview

The person I chose to interview is the owner of the company at my current place of work. Larry Godwin is the owner of Godwin Company, Inc, which is a forklift and golf car sales, and service company. Larry worked on his family farm growing up in Arkansas after leaving school in the fourth grade and then moved to Indianapolis when he was 18 years old and began working for a fan company. He got an opportunity for an apprenticeship position at a tool and die company doing mainly forklift repairs. After that he went to work for Westinghouse, rebuilding electrical equipment, doing machine work, and maintaining their forklifts. He then decided to work for Kidney-Wood, a tow motor distributor, where he was a road technician for one year, he was then promoted to Service Manager. After working in that position for 10 years, he saved $4,000.00 by working overtime on evening and weekends so he could start his own business, that business is now a profitable company. I think it’s important to point out that he did this with only a fourth grade level education. He is a very determined person and learned everything he knows by observing and taking in everything he learned at his previous places of employment.…
