Wind Beneath My Wings By Better Midler is one of the songs that was chosen for the project theme. It also relates to any relationship It’s about a couple trying to say thank you for always being there and supporting each other through any hardship and obstacles that hit you in life. The emotions that was giving off is happiness because the person is thanking the other always being there and helping each other. The meaning behind the song is a bird cannot fly to great heights without wind. When someone reaches a high level of achievement then the person who have aided them in this accomplishment are said to be “ the wind beneath my wings”. “Did I ever tell you you’re my hero? You’re everything I wish I could be. Oh and I could fly higher than an eagle cause you are the wind beneath my wings”. Self disclosure is the process of deliberately revealing information about oneself that is significant and would not normally be known by others (chapter 9 pg.309) This term ties into this song because you wouldn’t think all your friends were the wind beneath your wing, only one special person you would tell things like this to.

I am strong when I am on your shoulder you raise me up to more than I can be” .The emotions that were given from this song is happiness letting the person know you raise me up and you will always have someone there who gives you the strength to keep going. Paralanguage to describe nonverbal vocal message the way a message is spoken can give the same word or words many meanings (chapter 6 pg. 218). This term fits in with this song wonderfully because the lyrics the person is saying like “ you raise me up so I...
