There are many benefits of having P.E; physical education not only makes you healthy, but also improves your memory, expand your creativity, improve mental health, and more. Studies have shown that obesity rate is growing in Canada, and we need physical education to keep us healthy for the rest of our lives. Studies have also shown that physical education is not only important for your health, but it can also affect student’s academic achievements, by a huge number. Let’s compare this. The kids are the face of Canada’s healthy community right now. Suppose, if physical education was optional and most students chose not to take physical education and they get less healthy. Canada wouldn’t be a healthy country (like U.S.A). Having physical education will not only make school fun, but it can also prepare you mentally for the other subjects. …show more content…
One of the main reasons why some students do not want physical education every day is because students who are not interested in sports are being forced to try they do not want to. These students are forced and feel embarrassed. That should not happen. Some sports can be dangerous for example; floor ball (St. Joseph high school). My classmate in grade seven got an injury because of a high stick. Some schools do not have physical education daily because of the price.
