Personal Statement: Hockey Is My Obsession
To say hockey is my obsession is an understatement, it is my life. For as long as long as I have been playing hockey it has completely consumed my life; bringing me memories, friends, lessons learned, ups and downs. In university I will continue to follow my obsession by playing on the varsity hockey team, coaching young hockey teams and by getting my own children to get involved with sports someday. For 12 years I have been at the arena nearly every day and I feel so at home every time I step on the ice. There is no other way to truly grasp this feeling other than to continue to play hockey throughout university.
