Outline the benefits of health promotion based on the five action areas of the Ottawa Charter. The five action areas of the Ottawa Charter include developing personal skills, creating supportive environments, strengthening community action, reorienting health services and building healthy public policy. The benefits of health promotion include developing personal skills is considered through education specifically PDHPE classes. Creating supportive environments – gyms and parks, light up at night so can exercise whenever suitable, healthy tick on particular foods. Strengthening community action –

Reorientating health service – focuses on primary prevention, doctors treat people more holistically. Building healthy public policy – p plater laws, no hat no play.
