How will you adapt your PE plan into college or adulthood given your fitness level may change?
My current P.E. plan includes cross country and track, and I will have to evolve this plan in the future. After high school, I will need find other activities to participate in to stay in shape. I will adapt my plan to fit my college lifestyle by running once a day, either in the morning or the evening. In addition, I plan to attend yoga and cycle classes once a week. My fitness level may change because I will no longer race or have workouts given to me by my current coach, so I should consider getting a personal trainer or join a running club. Dorm workouts to maintain strength are also essential.

    Being Fit Research Paper

To be honest, before I started P.E I didn't really acknowledge being fit. I wasn't aware of what being fit really meant. More along the lines of what it's "stereotyped" to be (being skinny, working out and losing weight.) However, during these past couple weeks I've come to realize that being fit is so much more. It changes your life completely in many ways. It gives you a whole different outlook on life, makes you more aware and happy; makes simple every day activities anything but a chore. Being fit is vital, especially at my age where as I can be doing so much more with myself. And this, is what I plan to do. To be fit, not just for this semester - but for the long run.…

    Goal Analysis

The main activity I will do is playing pickup basketball at Pearson Hall. Basketball is my favorite sport and it is an easy way to get 2/3 hours of exercise each time I go. In addition, the competition is often good and it is a decent workout. Another way I can get exercise is through the gym at IBC. I am not a huge fan of running just to run, so I will often times try to play a sport instead. I will make a checklist for physical activity. Each week I will have a paper on my refrigerator that says “Weekly Physical Activity” There will be four boxes that each say 2 hours. Each week my goal will be to check off all four boxes. My goal is acceptable. The time commitment can be there as long as I make an effort. I can easily schedule 2 hours/days of physical activity on the weekends. Likewise, I can easily fit 4 hours of exercise in throughout the school week. I will play basketball every Tuesday/Thursday at 2:00pm. This will give me a lot of consistency with my exercise and ultimately achieving my goal. This goal is extremely realistic. Essentially, the goal is to do 8 hours of exercise per week. That is a little over 1 hour of exercise per day. I think this amount is a great way to be consistent throughout the semester. This goal has essentially already been in effect, but will officially start Monday February 1st. It will “end” May 1st. However, during the summer I will not have any problem with exercising 8 or…
