The regulations set by the joint commission on accreditation of health organizations and HIPPA ensure patient safety and care is met. Organizations have a purpose in performance management. This purpose is evaluating results and making improvements. Communication is an important part within any organization. Each member of a organization needs to be clear and communicate effectively to assist the safety and health of every part of the facility. This includes patients and staff. Complying with the regulations addresses principle and standards that are set for the organizations.
