NOVEL STUDY (GRACELING, BY KRISTIN CASHORE)
NOVEL STUDY.

(GRACELING, BY KRISTIN CASHORE) I started reading Graceling as a novel study, but the more I read the more I wanted to know!
I disliked at first that it was written from thread person, though I learned to love it.
Part One- The Lady Killer.
The lady killer is not mealy a metaphor, ‘The Lady Killer’ is the story.
A story of how Kasta (The Lady Killer) revolves and rebels! Kasta (The Lady Killer) is graced with the power too kill, so it is thought...
In this time and place people with graces belong to the king, he has the right to use them in anyway necessary. Kasta being a relative of the Randa, King of the Middluns is now a part of the game of power. The king uses her to scare and toucher or even worse, kill his enemies.
All of the Seven Kingdoms fear her because of her notorious stories.
This is the only life Kasta has ever known.
The only freedom in her life is that she gets from the secret Council. One night as the Council investigating what they think might be an answer to the disappearance of the grandfather of the Lienid kingdom, Prince Tealiff, who had been kidnapped, she meets a Graced, Lienid prince named Po. Po is the grandson of Prince Tealiff and is searching for him, same as Katsa.
Po resumes his search for his grandfather in Randa City where he finds the rescued Prince Tealiff. Next, their mission is to find the kidnapper. Kasta and Po become friends and allies, for Kasta this is a big thing as she has not many friends.
For in this time and place people where afraid of gracelings.
A graceling, someone with two different collared eyes gifted with an extraordinary talent that could vary from climbing trees to being able to read minds!
Kasta Is by far my favorite characters, she’s strong and independent yet caring and loving. Her trust is not easily gained so when she becomes to trust and care for Po it means a lot to her. When she puts the pieces together that Po is a mind reader (She despises

Alias Grace, written by Margaret Atwood, is a well-written novel filled with many components that enhance the theme and the story as a whole. Atwood reveals the story of Grace Marks to the reader in a variety of ways, including various points of view. This allows the author to reveal the character of Grace Marks in many different layers based on the accounts of others and Grace herself. Atwood also characterizes Grace Marks as an untrustworthy narrator, leaving the reader to question whether or not they trust her perspective of the events that occurred. The title, Alias Grace, also adds meaning to the story because it makes the reader question, who is the real Grace Marks? Margaret Atwood uses the components – point of view, characterization and the title – as a method to help the reader better understand and appreciate the stories theme of searching for the truth.…

How sweet the sound, / That saved a wretch like me! / I once was lost but now am found, / Was blind, but now I see.” (cited in Clugston, 2010). In this paragraph, Newton used words such a wretch to describe himself. He also stated that he was lost, but the sweet sound helped him and guided him to see, which to me meant that he began to differentiate between right and wrong.…
