“My Great Teacher also My Hero”

Objective/Purpose: To inspire and encourage many of us, also cheers us up to “Keep Looking Forward”.

Description of Lesson: A teacher (also called a schoolteacher) is a person who provides education for students. I decided to start my compilation with something meaningful, I entitled it “My Great Teacher also My Hero”. A simple tribute to her and to them, to our beloved teachers who shows us and gave us a half of their lives to teach us and share their wonderful Perspective in life.

In my 18years existence in life, other than my parents, she is the one who change my perspective in life, taught me that nothing is impossible if I just believe in it that’s her, my teacher also my hero. The one who taught me to be strong in times of failures and never give up the things I wanted most in life, my dreams. There is one phrase, given by my teacher that I will never forget “keep looking forward”, that phrase encourages me all the time and reminds me to continue looking forward whatever might happen and will happen to me. Even when I am down she cheers me up and encourages me to finish what I have started. I am very proud to describe my favorite teacher to all of you and will share what I have learned from her because she is my teacher and my hero.
Do you know why she is my hero? Because she looks out for me and teaches me lessons about life and lessons that I need to know. She also teaches me to be a good person, to be polite, courteous, brave and respectful especially to the elderly. And even though she is already tired and stressed, she still looks out for us and never gave up on us. While in school, she is our mother, because she makes sure that we are all safe.

She has the most beautiful personality I ever encountered. I am proud to say that she is beautiful inside and out. She has two small brown eyes that showing his tender loving care to us, a pointed nose, and a red rosy lip. She has a short black shiny hair and brown Filipina complexion. My teacher is a very good example in her young age. She graduated college without having any single affair to anyone that resulted to be a Summa Cum Laude in the school she graduated. She is a very good speaker, listener, and adviser. All students are inspired because of her. I am very thankful having my teacher because of her I am enlightened to do my job what I must do and be responsible every time.

Sometimes when the class becomes unruly, she is always very patient. She treats everyone of us equally, no favoritism. That is my teacher. Teachers are heroes, because if there were no teachers there are no doctors, nurses, businessmen, politicians and other professionals. We will all be ignorants. For me, the word teacher stands for the one who Teach us, Encourage us, Aspire us, Care for us, Help us, Enhance us and Reminds us who we are and what we are. My teacher may not be wonder girl who has a super natural power as Darna has.
In life, people may come and go, some will be remembered and some are forgotten. But one thing is for sure, I'll never forget the person who is known as my second parent. Who did efforts for me to gain knowledge, the one who has been my guide for so many years, the one who scolds and corrects me when I am doing wrong, and the one who has been there as I face to reach the stepping stones in my life. The one who appreciates my efforts, the one who is always there to feed me a bit-full of information that I might use someday, the one who saves me from this unfair life where everyone should be feed with the same level of knowledge. The person who sacrifices for our own good, and yet, the laziness that I've shown them, the tiredness that they have seen from me. After all, they never give up and they never stop to fill us with knowledge and when we are going to fall, they are always there to reach our hand and pull us back and so, the years might have been overthrown, and everything will fade, but they always be my hero for life and for all that efforts and sacrifices that they've done for us. How would life be without our teacher? I Think it is much harder to Achieve our Dream isn`t it? “Grabe ne, sobra neman ka terror i Sir! Lalo na itang Instructor ku ketang metung a subject, Hay!”. That phrase somehow bugs me out knowing that teachers only do their jobs to help their students. They are there to guide us on our studies and not to mislead us to the wrong path. No teacher wanted her/his student to be in the wrong direction, right? That’s why we are celebrating teachers’ day to commemorate how patient they are in teaching the knowledge they have that we students need inside and outside the school. Let us give time to our dear teachers to relax once and make them feel how special they are as a mentor.

Our teachers are our second parents. They are the ones who will look on our performance outside our homes. They will be the one who will teach how to respect others and how that others will respect you. They give us the wisdom to think how we are going to face the reality after studies. Teachers will lend their ears to hear what you want to say. They will lend you their spare time to talk about the problems you have. That’s why they are compared to a hero. A hero that will always be there whenever you need help. Sometimes, teachers also need our help. They also get tired to those who do not follow what they want for the good of their students.

There are times that we also need to give teachers space to think of what they need to do to make their students feel like there’s no place like a classroom that has a brilliant teacher. If there are no teachers, we won’t be in the school because no one is going to teach us.
