My English Composition Analysis
English Composition I was the most challenging class for me this semester. English is my second language, so i probably take more time than other take to finish my papers. I never wrote a proposal argument or a fit review. Also i never wrote a essay with a source page at the end, so i can show the reader where i got that information from. This house was challenging for me because of the time I spent writing papers, the time i spent with a writing touter, and reviewing the papers. Every paper I wrote in this class I spent time and effort writing it. I was challenging my self at the begging of the semester if i can continue the class without going to the writing lab, but I realized that still my English was not that good to write a paper with

The audience gains a greater understanding and appreciation of the consequences and societal issues presented through the author’s texts of changing perspectives. This greater understanding is represented by a wide range of language techniques showing the quality of a change of perspective in life. In the short story ‘Forgotten Jelly’ by Megan Jacobson, it demonstrates how an individual understands the consequences and issues while time progresses, which in turn leads to a change of perspective. Likewise, in the poem ‘Mending Wall’ by Robert Frost, we observe how, as the characters develop, they understand and gradually learn more about the perspective of others and eventually leading to a change of their previous views.…

A hero is a man noted for his special achievements according to the dictionary, but if you ask most people what a hero is, you will get the same general response. They will probably say someone who does something for other people out of the goodness of his heart. Odysseus, who is the main character of the story, "The Odyssey" told by Homer, would fit the dictionary's definition of a hero; but if you go deeper, looking at what people feel a hero is, he doesn't even come close. In the book, Odysseus does nothing out of the goodness of his heart. Even if Odysseus fought in the Trojan War, he is not a hero because he is self-centered and ignorant to other peoples' values and needs.…

Finally, when I got my grade on the paper I was overjoyed with happiness. I immediately went to the gym after class and worked out. The feeling of immortality was overthrown by the last paper announced, the Late-Midterm Exam. This paper was an easy “A”, but it also felt like an easy “F”. The letter grade received was an “A”, but I actually thought I was going to get a worst grade. The questions were easy but slightly challenging. I had to use the internet to assistance me with my paper because the fear of lacking information haunted me. Overall the essays were written this semester progressively improved due to the help of my professor and the writing lab. Journals were difficult to do in the beginning of the semester, but over time I started to enjoy writing. Each journal was different and unique in their own way. I successful reached each word count for the journals and I was surprised. Around 3,000 words in 4-5 weeks was absolutely amazing. I underestimated myself on how good and consistent I was at writing. The grade received on my journals is maybe an “A”.I would be ecstatic if that was the grade, though. I attendance class almost every day to write a new and interesting…

Throughout my writing career, I have observed several aspects with the potential to shape any writer’s success. Among the elements, the most influential of them is the English course in which the student enrolls. Moreover, English courses hold influence over a student’s life in that they have a responsibility to either advance or reduce the writer’s skills. The progress in my writing development began when English II guided me through noticing worth in my writing, finding pride in a strength, and appreciating positive aspects of the course.…

The Nature of a person's writing style can sometimes show more about an individual then the words they actually write, the poetic twists in sentence flow or the professional structure of their grammar. Writing styles are as unique as fingerprints and to define them can be as arduous as mastering the skills required to properly form one. In the quest to define my own style I discovered a detail that I have determined encapsulates the style with which I write; I write with passion. When I say I am a passionate writer I don't mean that I love to write but more that my level of personal affection toward the subject I am writing on directly affects the emotional nature I write in. In other words, I write more expressively and artistically the…
