Students who collect information from the Internet tend to be more independent and do not need to rely on the teacher as much. Students can also create their own understanding of a subject, so it is easy for teachers to understand the students' knowledge.
Technology allows students to focus on one thing instead of multiple books and papers. With more and more visual presentations and lectures there will be more flexibility for students to participate.
