Mind In Elain's Circle Essay

The developmental theory that I am going to use to connect to one of the characters in the book is one of the five minds, which is creative mind. Creative mind is where people are open-minded and are able to do different things. In the book, Elain’s Circle, Mrs. Elain Moore showed this developmental theory because she was always open-minded about what she is going to do with her class. In the book, Mrs. Moore states to another teacher, “Well…we simply couldn’t function.” …. “If I took away, we’d just be doing bookwork. We’d just be filling in blanks. That’s not enough.” (Katz p.28-29) Creative mind is being shown in this situation because Mrs. Moore tells the other teacher that if they don’t do Circle Time, then that is like losing a piece
