Executive Summary

Introduction:
Shore Good Bakery (SGB) is a new bakery and coffee retail establishment that is located on the boardwalk of the Jersey Shore. SGB plans to catch the interest of a regular loyal customer base with its wide variety of baked goods and coffee. The company also plans to build a strong market considering there is only one other café on the boardwalk and is fairly new as well. SGB main goal is to offer its product at a competitive price to meet the demand of the middle-to higher-income local market area residents and tourists.

The Company:
SGB is incorporated in the state of New Jersey. It is equally owned and managed by its two partners. Ms. Jessica Jimenez has an extensive background in marketing, sales and management. Ms. Nicole Leeb also brings experience in the area of finance and administration. The company plans on hiring 4 full-time bakers that will come in at night and back the goods every night so that the products are fresh everyday. The company also intends on hiring 10 part-time baristas to handle customer service and the day-to-day operations, which will be overseen by a general manager.

Products and Services:
SGB will offer a broad range of coffee and espresso products such as a light roast, a dark roast, a hazelnut crème roast, and a decaf roast. SGB will also cater to all of its customers by providing each customer coffee and espresso products made to suit the customer, down to the smallest detail. The bakery will provide freshly prepared bakery and pastry products at all times during the business hours. There will be about six to eight moderate batches of bakery and pastry products that will be prepared during the day to ensure that fresh baked goods will always be available.

The Market:
SGB wants to establish a large regular customer base, and will therefore concentrate its business and marketing on local residents, which will be the dominant target market. This should establish a healthy, consistent, revenue
