EXECUTIVE SUMMARY:

This report typically focuses on the detailed analysis of problem with the Fyna Foods Ltd. Marketing process is the major point of focus because it is considered as main marketing problem. There could be several reasons for the problem which are discussed in detail in this particular report. In order to resolve such issues the following two marketing theories are related to the above mentioned problem, such as a Model of Value Creation & Marketing Process.

After describing the overview of problem, detailed analysis of suggestions and recommendations are provided to minimize the problem immediately, which are discussed in the next later on in this report.

INRODUCTION:

Fyna Foods Ltd. is a food manufacturing company. Fyna Foods Ltd. got the contract to provide their new Supa-Long French fries to Beefies Hamburger Chain two months ago. Besides having the opportunity to generate the revenue, it also brings the problem with the excess quantity of potatoes which have been leftover. Fred Fahr, General Manager of Fyna Foods Ltd. comes up with an idea to produce a new breakfast burger.

According to the details given in the case study, we are going to discuss what the problem is that Fyna Foods Ltd. is facing in terms of marketing its product; we will also discuss some symptoms or some consequences arising due to this problem. Two theories will be discussed in relation to marketing and how these theories can be applied to solve the problem and will provide action plan towards the conclusion.

SWOT ANALYSIS:

STRENGTHS

Fyna Foods is using the excess material for making a new product instead of purchasing new material. Moreover, production department does not need to make measure changes to produce the burgers. And, they have produced a super premium quality product without any extra efforts (easily manufactured even in a test kitchen).

WEAKNESS

Fyna Foods have the extra quantity of potatoes which is being wasted, ultimately decreasing the profit. And they are struggling to make perfectly square potatoes. They also have problem in pricing. And even, they have insufficient budget for the promotion of the new product.

OPPORTUNITIES

Fyna Foods are supplying long fries, which have a big possibility of generating revenue. They are entering into new market by making new breakfast burgers. They have the opportunity to be pioneer in breakfast burgers market by replacing bacon and eggs. And their contract is going to increase 10 percent per annum which will increase the excess material.

THREATS

Dumping of the excess material constitute extra cost which will decrease the profit of Fyna Foods. Product name does not match with the...
