1. Lugaw Queen started its operation two years ago (after SM was established in Calamba) The rest of the small enterprises had begun there operations before SM Expanded its business in Calamba, 4 years ago.

2. After SM was established in Calamba, Lugaw Queen’s sales was not affected, the rest of the small enterprises’ sales was affected.

3. The sales of the Small enterprises declined except Lugaw Queen.

Some of the products the’re selling are also in SM Calamba
Greater competition
Customer’s bandwagon of SM’s products

5. Positive effects SM brought to their business:
Lugaw Queen: “more customers”

6. Negative effects SM brought to their business:
Decline of sales
Heavy traffic that leads to transportation inefficiency
Less customers people tend to go to SM for one stop shop
SM’s monthly sale
