ABSTRACT: This Web Application provides facility to conduct online examination world wide. It saves time as it allows number of students to give the exam at a time and displays the results as the test gets over, so no need to wait for the result. It is automatically generated by the server. Administrator has a privilege to create, modify and delete the test papers and its particular questions. User can register, login and give the test with his specific id, and can see the results as well.

EXISTING SYSTEM: A number of online examination system soft wares are available today. The system of online exams has been widely adopted by a good number of organizations and universities. The tasks of maintaining records, score cards, student details, question papers and so on is very easily managed by the system. Management of continuously assessed coursework is just as straightforward as summative final exams. Few examples of available technologies are Exam-software Test Engine, Aotea Online Assessment System, summation Technologies – Online Courses Examination System (OCES) and so on.

PROPOSED SYSTEM: The Online Examination System is a web based application. The system suits the need of Educational Institutions, Primary and Secondary Schools, Colleges, Professional and Vocational Institutes, Universities or Training Academies. The product (system) aims at reducing costs associated with conducting exams over a period of time and achieving total automation of examination system-related tasks like registration, publication of results, which leads to a very high degree of system efficiency.
