Price is one of the four factors of the marketing mix. Price is a very important element because it will decide the position of product. Furthermore, some other factor also can influence the pricing such as the cost of the product and product features.
Driving Power Light Low SF is the most important shoe in the all of puma products. The price strategy of this shoe divides in some different part.
Develop marketing strategy
First, puma should analysis the market segmentation and consider the target about this product and positioning. Puma is famous in the sports products and they divide the market in different part with different price. And the target of this product is the fashion young age group who like driving and sports. Based on these factors puma can price this product.
Make marketing mix decision
Puma can define the product, and consider how to sale this products. With these decision puma can make a reasonable price about this products.
Estimate the demand curve
Understand the amount of the market need with the price variation. Puma will research the need of the market about this product and consider how to decide the product price and they will make a curve and trough this curve understands the two variables.
Calculate cost
Puma will calculate the cost of this product include fixed and variable. These are two most important elements to pricing the products because the cost is fixed and the profits will depend on the cost of products.
The market environment
To estimate the competitor actions about their new products price and some other factors which can impact the puma product sales? Also puma should understand the legal constraints because they have the social responsibility to make sure their products are legitimate.

Unit variable cost is the variable cost expressed on per unit basis and the marginal cost is the change in the total cost that results from producing and marketing one additional unit of product.
