Public transportation Essay –
In a world of increasing environmental awareness, public transport represents the way of the future. In today’s society, taking public transportation and driving your own car are the best two ways that people around the world use to go to everywhere. People have the right to choose the ways of travelling that are suitable and more comfortable for them. On the surface, driving your own car seems more comfortable and more convenient for you; however, in my opinion, taking public transportation is more suitable and more far more beneficial.
It is true that having your own car is more comfortable than taking public transportation because you can go wherever you want and it is sure that you will sit and will not jam with others during the way; moreover, you do not have to wait for it.
Public transport is considered a great asset worldwide where the environment is concerned. The increased use of public transport means that there are going to be fewer cars on the road and that means less pollution. Another advantage to a low amount of cars on the road is that it also leads to less congestion.
Often when citizens are driving they need to be extremely focused and have a clear mind as to avoid road accidents, whereas when taking public transport; they need not a care in the world. The use of public transportation not only saves said person fuel fees, but the transport fee in general is extremely cheap.
In conclusion, taking public transportation is better than driving your own car. It helps you save money as fuel prices trend to increase more and more in these days; moreover, you do not have to pay for fixing, insurance, checking, parking, financial interest and other damages. There are a lot of cars on the roads especially in a city so they often cause traffic jams and problems about accidents as well as parking. More importantly, global warming is the biggest world’s problem so we should save our world’s energy and stop polluting

People prefer private cars over public transport for several reasons. Firstly, private cars are believed to be faster than public transport since people don’t have to spend their precious time waiting for a bus. In addition, bus-shelters are usually crammed with people. Secondly, you can go directly from work to home much faster. Furthermore, there are people who don’t like to share places with unknown persons or they don’t like to be standing up during their journey. For instance, when taking a bus in rush hours it is very difficult to find a spare seat and eventually you end up grasping a hand bar and trying to keep your balance so as not be flung around when the bus brakes.…

First off, public transportation takes people to a lot of places for a cheap price. Nowadays, due to several economic factors, people search for alternatives that help them to save money. Cars are expensive to buy and to maintain; also, gas prices have been increasing dramatically. On the other hand, public vehicles allow commuters to go around different distances spending much less than if they had to drive a car. If you compare the cost of gas and parking to the cost of train or bus pass, you will figure out that a monthly commuting pass is far more economical. Also, according to the American Automobile Association, “the estimated cost of driving a single-occupant vehicle is between $4,826 (for a small car) and $9,685 (for a large car) per year, depending upon mileage. By contrast, the annual average cost for public transportation for one adult ranges from $200 to $2,000, depending upon mileage, time of day, type of vehicle or service” (AAA). So, when looking at public transportation, one of the main benefits is undoubtedly the ability of saving some money because it costs less than driving.…

    | [][Edit]ConWe would need more public transport. Buses, planes, trains etc. all harm the environment, just as cars do. If everyone used public transport, more buses would pollute cities. It should also be mentioned that the manufacturing and creation of a public transport system is very energy intensive, drawing largely on coal and fossil fuels for energy. This releases significant carbon emissions into the atmosphere.…

In contrary, the main disadvantage of having your own transportation is the amount of gas that it consumes from time to time especially during rush hours where heavy traffic is at stake. Since gases are not environmentally friendly as it contributes to the thinning of the ozone layer. And for that reason, I strongly believe that leaders in every country should take control over distribution of privately owned cars to public. The government is really working hard on providing people an alternative means of transportation and accessible to service users as well, hence public transport should be utilized.…
